This room holds the main bar, lounge and restaurant, its ambiance is comfortable, light and airy with climate control air-conditioning. The restaurant area can be screened off from the lounge for smaller parties and more intimate dining.

In contrast, our casual “spike bar” takes you back to the origins of the club and is equipped with large screen TV with Sky Sports. An ideal room in which to relax and socialise after a game of golf. We also have a separate room which boasts a full size snooker table.

High quality catering is an integral part of our club, whether it is a formal event, casual Friday night meal, or a snack after a game of golf. We pride ourselves on providing the best experience possible for any occasion.

The clubhouse capacity seats over 100 diners and is open to members and non-members for private functions.

Bar Service

Our highly trained bar staff provide an efficient and enthusiastic service from a well stocked bar which often features speciality beers, some of which are locally sourced.

Halfway House

Conveniently situated along side the 10th tee, giving access after you have played the 9th, just starting the 1st or the 10th holes.  The facility is open daily from 10.30am for that warming drink on a cold day, a relaxing cold drink, snacks and/or a place to sit for those who choose to take a break between the first and final half of their round.

At Shirley Golf Club we have a large meeting room which can be set up host functions in 3 optional styles:

The room capacity holds 30 Banqueting, 30 Theatre or 18 Boardroom format.

Our Function room restaurant seats 40 for Banqueting or Theatre style.
