Shirley Golf Club

Juniors Section

We are passionate about bringing young people into the exciting and wonderful world of golf and developing their skills. We have an active Junior Organisers Committee who are constantly looking at how we can help juniors enjoy this great sport and reduce their handicap.

Several young players from Shirley represent the County and we are very proud some have gone on to become Professional Golfers – the latest being Katrina Gani. We have around 60 boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 years old at Shirley, but we are always keen to hear from new young people who want to give golf a go.

Our excellent practice facilities and various coaching sessions are designed to develop your skills, but the best way to start your golfing hobby is to take lessons with Stuart Bottrill, our golf professional, or one of his PGA qualified coaching staff, Stuart is widely acclaimed across Warwickshire as a boys & girls teaching professional. He and his team offer individual lessons and in term time group lessons are available on Saturday mornings.  Contact our Pro Shop for details.  Tel: 0121 746 5646 or email [email protected]
